The Lord Jesus Christ is the greatest Evangelist,infact, he is The Evangelist who turned many to righteousness,the way to God the Father himself. Evangelism ends with Christ being fully formed in those who have believed in Him.Evangelism should follow with the "making of disciples" meaning, one reached out to and made a disciple in the model of Christ our Lord.This can only be done with the indispensible help of the Holy Spirit in us.
It is the work of the Holy Spirit through our obedience to Him, that will decide Christformation in us.We cannot model a believer in Christ after the programs of this world and expect them to be Christ-like.Far from it!The Great commission says that we are to TEACH them to OBEY His Commandments and not the world's or some worldly organisation's.This is where the confusion lies today.In trying to be relevant, many turn to the worldly ways to adopt and practice.The outcome is what you see today,confusion when it comes to truths of God.
